One shake, so many possibilities!
1 ½ cup BamNut Shake powder (128g)
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
A pinch of cinnamon
¾ cup milk of choice (180g)
60g butter
2 egg
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (BamNut Shake powder, baking powder, salt and cinnamon)
In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients (milk, butter, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla extract)
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir with a big spoon until just combined (batter will be slightly lumpy). Let batter rest for 10 minutes to allow the BamNut Shake powder to soak up some of the moisture
Plug in your waffle iron to preheat for about 5 minutes. If your waffle iron has a temperature setting, set it to medium-high
Once 10 minutes of soaking is up, give the batter one more swirl with your spoon. Then pour batter onto heated waffle iron and let it cook. Do not stack the waffle on top of another as it will lose its crispness.
Serve with honey or maple syrup or other toppings like fruits.
