With such a quick recipe, you can make it anytime when you need to cool down. With our suggested 5 core ingredients, this Acai bowl could not be easier; whilst retaining the nutritious and delicious essence of this Amazonian berry!
A quick guide to the Acai Berry
Never heard of 'Acai' before? Pronounced 'Ah-Sigh-EE', this small deep purple fruit is classified as a "Superfood" -- most well known for its antioxidant properties that serve to protect the body against various cancers and diseases. Acai berries are also packed with fiber and heart-healthy fats -- nourishing both mind and body!
6 oz (~180 ml) BamNut Milk, Everyday
300 g frozen Acai purée, unsweetened
100 g frozen berries, e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries
Maple syrup, to taste
2 tbsp of Chia Seeds
1 banana, sliced
4 tbsp of chopped pistachios
1 tbsp of toasted coconut, to taste
3 strawberries, chopped
½ a kiwi
Honey, to taste
Blend acai, fruits (berries, banana), BamNut milk, chia seeds, maple syrup together until well combined.
Garnish with fruits, nuts, etc.
