Milk might seem like an odd ingredient for cocktails. Don’t be afraid to experiment with it! Changing just one or two ingredients can often create an entirely different drink, which could be just as good as the original, or the disaster that you will remember for a long time to come 😂
In this recipe, we created a milk-based cocktail using our BamNut milk. It turned out surprisingly delicious with a flavorful punch, tasting like a decadent alcoholic milkshake! Our BamNut milk works well with spiced rum, adding a creamy richness without being too sweet.
You can also play around with the amount of spiced rum in the cocktail! If you want to go with something heady, bring it on with the rum, or if you are designated driver for the night, go simply with a nice BamNutty mocktail!
You can also make this yummy beverage completely dairy-free/lactose free by switching out the ice cream with a dairy-free/vegan option!
This recipe is easy to prepare, making it ideal for beginners to cocktail making. Cheers!
2 oz (~50ml) BamNut milk
2 oz (~50ml) spiced rum
1 oz (~25ml) hazelnut syrup
2 tsp peanut butter
2 scoops of ice cream
1 scoop of ice
Add spiced rum, BamNut milk, hazelnut syrup and peanut butter into a blender with ice and ice cream.
Blend it until well-chilled.
Strain into a glass, and garnish with freshly crushed nuts. Cheers!
